Beneficial Ownership

An Alderney registered company is required to appoint a resident agent on incorporation. The resident agent may be a Guernsey licenced corporate services provider or a company director who is resident on Alderney.

The resident agent is required to provide the Registrar with information relating to the beneficial ownership of the company on the standard form. Beneficial Ownership Form [167kb]

The information on beneficial ownership provided cannot be disclosed to any member of the public and is held securely by the Company Registrar. Disclosure of this information can only be made pursuant to an authorised request by a competent authority.

The provisions of the Beneficial Ownership of Legal Persons (Alderney) Law, 2017 and the Beneficial Ownership (Alderney) (Definition) Regulations, 2017 apply.  The Law and all applicable Regulations can be viewed at www.guernseylegalresources.gg
